Get To Know Me Tag #5

Hi there!

It's been five months since I did a Get To Know Me Tag. Waaay too long!

I'd like for my readers to know the person behind the blog, so in this blogpost I'll be answering some questions and you'll get to know me a little better!

• A question by Judy Krueger: Who are your five favorite authors?
  First of all; Thanks to Judy for asking me this question! This is not a question that's that hard for me, because I have a few authors that I'm a BIG fan of. FIRST PLACE; Karin Slaughter. Definitely favorite author #1. Also Sarah J. Maas. She definitely writes some of the best fantasy books. In third place; J.K. Rowling, of course because of Harry Potter. In fourth place; M.J. Arlidge, I discovered his Helen Grace series a while ago and it's just awesome. Also; Roald Dahl just has to be on this list! Love his books so much.

• Are you fan of any sports team?
  I'm a huge Ajax fan. This is a soccer team from Amsterdam. I have been a fan since I was 12 years old or something. My bedroom looked like one big fan-hole with all Ajax stuff. I had a clubcard for two years as well, but now I just watch it live from home on a bought TV-channel.

• Do you prefer that people shoot straight with you or temper their words?
  Oh, honey, SHOOT. Seriously, I'm a person that just tells you how it is, and I appreciate that in my friends as well. I'm not a temper-person and I feel that people are not being real with me if they temper their words. Usually something is not said when people try to temper their words, and you'd better just tell what's on your sleeve, from there you can look forward.

• Do you prefer Titanic or The Notebook?
  This is SO HARD! I think I'll choose Titanic, but also because there are a lot of memories that go with it; me watching that movie with my mom when I was younger. I've also seen Titanic like 15 times and The Notebook just once or twice. So after pondering on this one, I'll go for Titanic!

• What's your favorite season?
  I don't really do favorite season, since I love something about every season and I'm always happy when a new season arrives. I just love Winter, because of Christmas, it's my fave ever. I love Spring, because flowers and trees start to bloom and it's staying light longer. I love Summer, because you can be outside all the time. And I love Fall, because nature is so beautiful and you can just cuddle up inside with hot tea and a blanked and a good book! I did have a great Fall-walk recently, and right now I'm just enjoying fall a lot.

• Would you rather win the lottery or work the perfect job?
  I'm gonna be honest with you; I'm a LAZY ASS PERSON. So I'd definitely choose the lottery and spend time doing fun stuff. I'd probably travel a lot, because there are so many beautiful things to see on the world. I don't need the biggest house or car or stuff like that, I just want to do fun things! It's how I spend my time right now, but if I'd win the lottery I'd quit my job and do fun things 24/7!

• Do you have pets?
  Sadly, I don't. My boyfriend is allergic to cats, so I can't get one, I'm soooo sad about that. I also can't get a dog, because I'm away all day and that would be just cruel. I can't get fish, because I don't have room for them. So yeah, there you go. I'd definitely want to get a dog later in life or some fish. My mom does have a cat and she is in my life 17 years already, so once I week I go there and cuddle with her. I see her as my pet, her name is Roxy!

And the book I'm about to pick up...

District 13 has come out of the shadows and is plotting to overthrow the Capitol. Everyone, it seems, has had a hand in the carefully laid plans--except Katniss.
