Today I will highlight two short stories that were entertaining to read.
Both stories could've been longer books if it was up to me, and I'm glad that I got the chance to read these books.
Title: Legion of Mono
Author: C.D. Tavenor
Pages: 25
I liked this story a lot. It felt like the start of a a bigger story, like a 0.5 book of a series.
The flashbacks in this story gave the main character and the story itself more depth and it was also a good opportunity for the author to explain some things in this story.
It was a thrilling story to read and the war scene actually felt like a real war scene, where some books can lack tactics or action, this book had it all!
The ending was great and I think this is a great debut by C.D. Tavenor.

Title: Fireside Chat with a Grammar Nazi Serial Killer
Author: Ryan Suvaal
Pages: 23
What a great story. This main character intrigued me and I was also curious about her. It reminded me of the TV-Show Dexter, and I really liked that series!
I share the same love for books and reading and the same hate towards grammar mistakes, I get called a Dutch Grammar Nazi myself sometimes.
I really would like to read more about this thrilling main character and I would definitely read a book that is 10 times as long.

These two short stories are definitely worth the 20 minutes that they take of your time!
Did you read any good short stories lately?
