One of them is a picture book and totally stole my heart, and the other was an action paced book.

This book was so nice to read. I loved the rhyme it has, I know that speaks to children and I like to read a picture book with rhyme as well.
The pictures are beautiful, if you take some time to look at the pages you'll see much more than what you'd first think.
I could totally see myself reading this book in class. I could use it for an English Lesson with the older kids. The book is educational in life lessons.
The morale behind the story is such an important lesson for young children, especially those who are so insecure and have bad self-esteem.

What was fun to me, was that this book starts with the action right away. Some books need building up to the action, but I like to read a book once in a while where you just dive in head first.
The story to me was a bit confusing, but after reading the synopsis I understood more and knew a bit better what it was about.
The book was easy to get through and the author shows a nice writing style.
Anyone who would like an action paced short story to cover 20 minutes of your time, should read this book!
Both short stories are worth your time.
Did you read any good short stories lately?
