Booktag: 5 Star Predictions

Welcome, welcome, dear reader!
Welcome to the blog.

To day I'm doing the book tag 5 Star Predictions.

I'm going to predict which books in the upcoming year, I'm going to give 5 stars! I will include books that I'm going to try and read this year.

Feel free to join in, I'd love to read your posts.

5 Books from Series that I will continue

I've never given a book by Sarah J. Maas less than 5 stars. I'm just going to rely on statistics with this one!

I gave the other two books in this series 5 stars. Both books were so good. This book is wrapping up the trilogy and I'm expecting BIG things!

I gave the first three books in this series 4 stars, but after that it really kicked off for me. I'm rushing through these books and I finished the last 4 that I read with 5 stars.

I can't wait to continue this series. Carlos Ruiz Zafón is one of my favorite authors. The first two books in this series were SO beautiful, I can't wait to continue reading this series.

Another series that slowly stole my heart. After finishing the Grant County series it took me a year to pick up books by Karin Slaughter. When I started the Will Trent series, I fell in love once again. The first two books got 4 stars from me, but the third and fourth book got 5 stars. Very excited to read this fifth book in the series!

5 Standalones

This book was a winner in the 2015 Goodreads Choice Awards. It sounds like a heartbreaking story and I'm usually quite touchy about WWII stories.

I'm very intrigued by the synopsis for this book and the reviews for this book win me over. I think that this will be a tear jerking book.

I discovered this book while voting for the Goodreads Choice Awards this year. That's usually the place where I discover a ton of good Standalones. I'm very curious about this story, because that time period definitely is in my line of interest.

First of all: Look at this cover. Okay, don't judge a book by it's cover. But I do believe the story inside this book is just as beautiful as it's outside. The summary sounds heartbreaking and the genres draw me in.

This is a risk I'm taking and it's going to be a hit or miss. I've never liked Anne's book Het Achterhuis (in Dutch). That's probably blasphemy since I'm from The Netherlands, but it just never drew me in. I love her story and feel like she's very inspiring. I hope that the graphic novel will get my attention and I'll be able to read Anne Frank's Diary once and for all. I do believe that once you're in this story, you're bound to give it 5 stars.

Did you read any of these books? What was your final verdict?
Do you believe that I've mentioned some potential 5 star books in this post?
