Two Short Stories #13

Today I will be highlighting two short stories.

One of them is a romantic short story and the other one is an adult erotical novel.

Let's dive right in.

Title: The Summer of Madness

I loved this cute and unique story. I dove in blank, without reading the synopsis, and was happily surprised.

The message behind the story is to cherish what you have, before you lose it. Our main character learned that lesson the hard way. You root for him to find his love in this story and in my opinion he didn't, but maybe he also did? Hmm, you'll have to read this to judge it yourself!

The book did contain some small grammatical errors like typo's or a letter missing, but nothing huge. 

The final sentence in this book is a quote by Nietzsche and I enjoyed that ending a lot. This short story is definitely worth reading.

I review Children's books or Picture books pretty often in my Two Short Stories. Today I'm going the total 180 degrees and I'll be reviewing an erotic adult novel.

This book was very graphical and full of steamy hot scenes. It's not for people who don't enjoy books like this. It is giving you exactly what the cover shows; BDSM and sexy scenes. 

I did love the final chapter, where we see more of the characters and the relationship they have and how much respect there is for boundaries.

I did feel that sometimes it was a bit too much and I would've loved to get to know the characters before, instead of at the ending of the book.

I definitely feel like this author could write longer novels with very steamy scenes in between, because the writing was good and the characters were written nicely!

Both books were fun to read and definitely worth the time.
