Today I will be highlighting two short stories.
One of them is a magical/erotic short story and the other one a lovely picture book about all the trash in the sea.
Let's dive right in.

The writing style in this book was lovely! I could easily lose myself in the story and the pages and I was excited every time to keep reading.
I'm a fan of stories with witches, magic and other fantasy-creatures, so this book was definitely in my genre.
The erotic layer was nice as well, all though I would've loved for the first 50% and the last 50% to be swapped: Layla getting to know about herself and Ink first would've been better, in my opinion.
I would love to learn more about Layla, her history, her life and where this story is going.
Author: Brad Pohl
Pages: 44
This book is adorable! First of all, I'm a huge fan of rhyme in a children's book, so that hit home for me right away.
I love that this story fits some of the problems we currently face in the world with all the clutter and trash in the seas and on the poles.
The pictures overall were beautiful and I loved that they were funny as well. I could see a classroom full of kids with smiley faces while reading this book.
What definitely scored points with me was the pages after the story that provided more information. The teacher in my gets all these amazing ideas for lessons and themed weeks in my classroom.
Both books were fun to read and made me curious about more from these authors.
Did you read any good short stories lately?
